Days Inns - Canada was pleased to host the latest TMAC Munch & Mingle at the Days Hotel - Toronto Downtown. Days Inns - Canada took this opportunity to launch their upcoming summer 2004 promotion Shrek - Are We There Yet? to the media and TMAC members.

Days Inns - Canada and TMAC were highly delighted with the turnout of over 60 attendees. The conference area was decorated with a sample Shrek room exhibit as well as a life size Shrek kingdom display. Giveaways to the attendees included Shrek and Donkey plush toy key chains.

Days Inns -Canada held a business card draw and awarded three prizes:

First prize- Two night stay at any Days Inn across Canada a Shrek-themed room
Winner: Evelyn Hannon of Journeywoman

Second Prize: Four passes to Famous Players
Winner: Melissa Armstrong of Marriott Hotels and Resorts

A bonus draw was also held with a prize of a two night stay in the Days Hotel - Toronto Downtown
Winner: May Givens.

Launching May 15th and running until August 31st, 2004, guests at any Days Inn across Canada can spend the night in their very own Shrek-themed room, featuring fun character-printed room decorations, a welcome letter from the characters and an assortment of goodies for the kids, including a plush Shrek character or storybook CD.

The promotion will also be supported by giveaways, a tremendous multi media advertising and public relations campaign, national sweepstakes and co-branded contests with other Shrek licensees.
