August 2004 - The Ontario Science Centre

The Ontario Science Centre has fun down to a science!

This August Munch and Mingle gave members a chance to explore KidSpark, the Science Centre's popular new learn-through-play space designed specifically for kids eight and under. KidSpark is the first of seven new experience areas to open as part of the Ontario Science Centre's three-year, $40-million revitalization initiative known as Agents of Change. Also Jennifer Martin, Director, Visitor Experience gave a brief presentation about some of the new things to look forward at the Science Centre.

Afterwards, members had a chance to catch the latest IMAX film, Forces of Nature, at the Shoppers Drug Mart OMNIMAX Theatre. A film which takes you closer than you would ever want to be to earthquakes, volcanoes and tornadoes.
