As many of you are aware, TMAC is currently run with an amazing and hard-working ten-member board and more than 20 wonderful volunteers serving on 12 committees, who, in association with T*OCS, together make TMAC the go-to organization for more than 425 travel media and industry professionals in Canada.
In order to continue to strengthen our association, attract new members and offer more benefits, we need your help. For only (an average of) one hour a month, you could work on a specific initiative over a short period of time or be involved on a committee in an ongoing role. It's up to you and your interests, skills and time availability. Just know that your contribution will make a difference.
Key committees that we need to build include:
Communications - responsible for all content distributed by TMAC to members and the public through various platforms, including the website, e-blasts as well as social media.
Social Media - due to the ongoing, ever-evolving dynamic nature of our social media platforms, a few more hands on deck to help tweet, post and update would be warmly welcomed.
Membership Benefits - source and negotiation of attractive membership benefits.
Conference Professional Development - design, development and recruitment of speakers for 10+ sessions during the conference as well as onsite logistics.
Conference Sponsorship - design, development and distribution of sponsorship kit as well as identification, contact and follow up with key prospects.
