Recently at the 2021 Tourism Industry Association of Canada Congress, the Minister of Tourism, the Honourable Randy Boissonnault, suggested that Canada's economy will not recover, until the tourism industry recovers.
Media Members of TMAC have and continue to inspire, educate and motivate travel to and within Canada and other destinations around the world. Never before has travel media had a more significant and powerful role to play as we collectively work towards the recovery of the tourism industry.
Industry Members of TMAC continue to leverage the power of media to their advantage from within the network we've curated since 1994.
In a recent survey, when asked why they have worked with our network of nearly 200 Canadian travel media over the past year, our Industry members cited the following reasons:
For all our members, one of the most valuable benefits of their membership is our annual TMAC Conference. As the largest gathering of Canadian travel media in Canada - it includes the Media Marketplace where more than 1,400 individual appointments are held. Hosted in a different destination annually, TMAC 2022 will be held in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, June 22 - 26.
As we prepare to embark on a new year, in 2022 we in invite both media within all mediums and tourism industry associations, attractions, accommodations, festivals and more to consider joining us, the Travel Media Association of Canada. We are going places, and will entice others to do the same as we rebuild the economy, and contribute to the recovery of the tourism industry.
An investment in TMAC membership in 2022, will be one that you'll value for years to come.
