Thursday, June 23, 2022 • Opening Reception & Dinner
LobsterBash! 6:30-9:30pm

Our Conference Hosts have a Lobster-ific night planned for you!
Yarmouth is the home port for hundreds of lobster boats and is just one of the many harbours in South West Nova Scotia where you’ll find working waterfronts built around the fishing industry. Lobsters live on the bottom of the ocean but they’re at the top of the list as Nova Scotia's most valuable seafood export with over 600 million dollars created from this fishery alone. Lobster is king around here so we’re celebrating this amazing crustacean with a meal fit for royalty.

Join us for the LobsterBash, wharfside, at Rudder’s Restaurant and Brew Pub, Yarmouth’s biggest seafood eatery. You’ll dine on the best quality, most delicious and the freshest lobster in the world caught from our local waters. You’ll learn about the industry, cooking techniques and the race to the best fishing grounds at the start of the season each year.

YES, for those of you who are unable to indulge in lobster, we will have something you too can sink your claws into!

Enjoy a fantastic Nova Scotia welcome at the LobsterBash!
